Dutchhill, I'm so glad your comments stuck this time.
Mary Ann, hi!
Namo: You know, I didn't have a "viewing apparatus." But I thought it would be fun to get out there and experience the light change. (But it didn't really get as dark as I imagined it would.) Were you able to see it? I know! You sky-dived past it!
Linda, I had planned to skydive that day, but I ended up not going. It was overcast in Los Angeles so you could peek at it for a fraction of a second without melting your eyes. I also had a pinhole viewer, but it wasn't bright enough to work properly.

Amazing!
Yay, it let me leave a message!!! I'm so excited I have nothing to say and I'm going to leave another.
what a perfect spot to see this last night!
Were you far north enough to get the "ring of fire" effect? In Los Angeles it peaked as a crescent.

And I completely missed it.
These are lovely, though.
I missed it too! (forehead slap) I forgot what day it was supposed to be. And I rarely get outdoors anymore.
