Sadness/Gladness

Today and yesterday Mom couldn't keep food down. This morning when I talked to her and asked her how she was feeling, she said that something was very wrong with her psyche.

This afternoon when I asked if her stomach hurt, she said no–that she just hurt all over. That what she felt was sadness.

On a day like today, it really helps to run into someone like this (Peter).

I love the top picture; so glad you ran into Peter. I'm sorry your mom was so sad. What an incredible vocabulary she still has--like a poet! Have you found out if she has a virus or something? Holidays and winter just make everything harder for me in the best of times. My heart goes out to you both.

I wonder if any of this has something to do with the holidays, I mean, how you're supposed to feel joyous and all that. I think boxing Peter up and sending him to Mom might be helpful. what say you?

Spooky picture.
Nothing like being in a bad mood and being flooded with songs and images about what a terrific time of year it is.
Meanwhile it's cold and dark and wet with viruses aplenty. (I've been self medicating with Advil and hot chocolate.)
I hope your mom's feeling better.
As for this Peter feller, I think he should be cloned. He's giving off a vibe that says
"The sun's going down, so I'll be standing in from him until he comes up again."

Hey Linda!

I just found the lovely beach candy, and I don't know why, but I love the stormy clouds with the eyeballs...

How is your mom feeling now?

I am distracted from working today!
