Is It Flash Friendly?

Yeah, I read through the cnn feature on it and didn't see any mention of Flash. Which doesn't mean it won't work, but considering the somewhat doofus (to me only) features they were touting, it seemed odd.

I know what you mean about some of the doofus features, but there isn't an easier phone to use in the world (including our land line). Emailing is easy, retrieving message selectively is a breeze, texting is easy, I won't have to tote a computer with me where ever I go. Surfing is easy (except for Flash sites). But that's gotta be in the works if it isn't already there. Since I don't have a sense of direction gene in my body, the GPS thing could come in handy, I don't know.

Linda, what are you saying. Its Junk, pure Junk. Just because you over paid by X3 doesn't mean you have to convince ever one else you got a good buy. I am on my 3rd iPhone and this one works no better than the 2nd or the 1st. You have a nice list of things it will do but you forgot the things it will not do. The hard stuff, like make a phone call and allow you the time to complete your call. How about voice recognition, how about enough volume that you don't have to go in a closet and close the door to hear. Pure junk, I could go on and on, and before you say it I moved 3 phones to ATT it will cost $575 to go back to a real phone company before my contract ends.

I love my iPhone. The big keyboard makes it so easy to text message. I can surf the Internet on it, and I've posted to my blog from it. And the camera's really good. Pat says the important thing is the new phone finally has the software developers can use to develop Flash for the iPhone.

Hi Doug! I don't have an iPhone. I've only used my friends' and whenever I go into the A. store I play with one. I was excited to hear that it's going to be $199 because now I might buy one. But if it doesn't allow you time to complete your call, it's no good. And if you can't hear, it's no good. Actually I use email more than phone--how does it work for that? If it's so bad, why are you on your third? What kind of phone will you buy next? p.s. How are things in Knoxville?

Stray G: Are there other cell phones that use Flash already?

Everyone I know has one of two opinions about the iPhone. They either love it or hate it. My brother got one that works great except for two places
1. His home
2. His work
He has fun playing music on it, however.

Hi Linda,
You should make a return visit to Knoxville, things are look up, we have a new mayer who every one seems to be happy with and to keep some excitement in the downtown area I-40 is CLOSED thou Knoxville for the next 14 months.

Being a big Mac fan I bought 3 of the iPhones the day they came out and moved my families 3 phone to ATT/Cingler from US Cell. The wife took one look and said take this back and get me a real phone. I returned the one and got a $49.99 Samsung to replace it. At $49.99 it was not the top of the line but with a $50.00 rebate, I made a penny. She is still using it, still loves it and her phone will often work in areas that my iPhone will not, even tho we are on the same account. The kids phone lasted about 2 months, she dropped it several time and finely broke the glass screen, she now has a Samsung. My iPhone has been replaced 2 times, at no charge to me for problems that apple could not, are choose not to fix and that is why and how I come to have 3 iPhones. I have paid for 2 and had 5. I don't use mine for email. to slow on the download. It is nice to have one address book and iCal with them. Many time with this phone I have had to borrow a cell phone to make a call when and where mine could not find a signal. I am bothered by the fact that the $50 Samsung seems to always out preform the iPhone. I just don't feel like I got what I paid for in this phone.
