Sally: Peter and Anne rode their bikes over with Chinese New Year presents for us. It's the year of the rat, and you know how I love rats. Anne was born in the year of the rat. When they came in, they spied the Fat Boy pillow on our floor. It matched their jackets and Peter picked it up and started a pillow fight.
Further back story: We moved to SF in 1998. When we walked on the beach we would see these two people almost every night with a beautiful dog. We thought they owned the beach. I dreamed about getting to know them. We met through Spots! Spots' human Scott–we got to know him right before he went into the hospital for a routine operation. One night shortly before he went into the hospital he asked us if we had met any other friends on the beach. I said, "Not really, but there are these two really tall people with this beautiful dog we've been curious about for years." He said, "Oh. That's Anne and Peter. We're going to the opera this weekend." Anyway, to drone on and on, Scott got a hospital infection and ended up losing a hip because of it, and he was in the hospital for a year. Anne and Peter made him move in with them when he got out. Plus they took care of Spots the whole time he was in the hospital. We got to know them. You helped me with Anne's web site.

Great art direction! What is that picture with the faces on the mantle?
Peter doesn't need any art directing!
Evie gave me that painting. It's by The Beaver http://www.visionaryart.com/
and it says:
"Where is the party?"
if there weren't so much lime green it would be down right scary. back story?
