Hooray for Lisa Horstman

Lisa, you are a gem. You responded quickly, compassionately to Paul's plea for web site help. Not only that, but when I requested a photo of you holding your Kindle in front of your latest work, you delivered a photo that radiates your good nature and sharp wit (above). For this, you deserve a reward. You may choose your prize from the following:

1. bird eggs (for display only)
2. jeweled-encrusted evening bag
3. "I'm exhausted" beauty kit

Act now;
supplies are limited.

Lisa, you are so talented. You made Metro Pulse a work of art. What software do you use for illustration?

Linda, my dear: one "I'm exhausted" beauty kit, please. God knows I need it.

Sally: Awrr! Thank you! I use Photoshop.

Lisa, I was hoping you wouldn't choose that one so I could keep it for myself. But I'll make use of the jewel-encrusted evening bag instead.
Oh! ...Will you e-mail me your address?

I enjoyed looking at your art works. Your art is beautiful, and it’s not surprising since your heart is equally beautiful.

*And, okay, your smile is beautiful too … in a funny way. (Just kidding ;)

Thank you all for your nice words. I've been down with a cold the last few days and your comments make me feel so much better! Linda, you have some wonderful, talented friends.

By the way, the Kindle rocks! I was lucky to get one as a Christmas gift. I highly recommend it, but only if you're okay with just reading without any pictures or graphics. It's good for newspaper reading and for books that I want to read but don't want a printed copy of. I still plan to buy hard copies of art books, comics and graphic novels, and books by authors I love. The smell of books is too much for me to resist.

You got those blue eggs at Peet's, didn't you? (Saw them there yesterday.) :)

Lisa, thanks for the Kindle review. I hope you're feeling lots better.

Marilyn, YES! Along with a lb. of Major Dickason's blend (the best). p.s. I'm so glad you're back.
