1. Vacationing next door neighbor's garden got watered before plants died.
2. Seconds before running out of coffee completely, Tom brought home three bags Peet's Major Dickason's Blend (on sale at Safeway).
3. Mom went to Dink's birthday party and had great time.
4. Not necessary to have latest iPhone for new 3.0 software to work. Cut and paste! Simple Simon "tape recorder" hilarious.
5. Did not get blown off Coastal Trail in gale-force winds.
6. Clean sheets.
One Tiny Not-So-Good Thing

It's like the poppy story, water is the key!
You got me on Major Dickason's Blend Linda, they sell it now at Publix!
Is Dink somebody who lives at your Mom's place?
My friend Marcus had a hard time with his new iPhone, but his eyes were dancing when he showed it to me.
Wish we had some wind, temps are in the high 90's, no rain..
Clean sheets, my favorite thing.
Saw a special on Woody Allen on tv.
Barbara: Every morning I have a date with the Major, and now you do too.
Dink is this incredibly nice and smart woman who moved into the "memory" unit across from Mom. Her presence completely changed Mom's outlook on life. (Until it dawned on the staff that Dink didn't have severe enough memory problems to be living on Mom's locked-down hall.) I met her several times and had a feeling mistakes had been made. She moved into another area shortly after, but remembered Mom and made sure she was escorted to her party.
I'm dying of curiosity: What kind of problems did Marcus have with his new phone?
These are not TINY things ~ they are important because they make you happy. I like Dink.
great illustrations, and I'm looking forward to Woody Allen movie too.
So glad your mom has a great friend like Dink. I like French roast better.
I know a woman who goes by the name Ding. I have no idea what her real name is. And I hear that the new Allen film is not so great. Doesn't mean I'll skip it, though...
yeah I heard awful things about Allen film today, who knows. My mother had a 104 year old male friend named Ping and a lot of funny stories about him but he's not around anymore.
#3 and #6 are Big great things!
*I sleep better with clean sheets ... the back doesn't hurt and the dream comes in technicolor.
Mary Ann, thank you. I love Dink.
Sally: Thank you--those are Facebook Graffiti illustrations I make when I'm talking to my mom.
Stray: Thanks, me too. I shoulda known you would prefer French!
Mari: That fruit pie photo on your blog is wondrous. I could never skip a W.A. movie.
Sally: Well, the trailer looks bad, but aren't most trailers awful? Gosh, lots of Dinks and Dings and Pings going on.
'Tude: Thanks. Technicolor dreams!! I like that.
