I just found out that my Christmas book (written by Janet Schulman) has been issued as a board book. I got an advance copy today. It will be released on September 13th. The board book is definitely my favorite format. It's chunky and fat. You can throw it at your little sister, serve pizza on it, use it as a shield–-and at the end of the day you can still read it.
Janet told me that board books are actually very good for teething babies. And that Random House uses nothing but the best non-toxic ink.
