Anne at Studio Gallery! The two watercolors above her head are hers.
tiny is a show that opened this evening. All pieces are 7" x 7" or smaller, and all are priced under $400. The effect of hundreds of pieces hung side by side by hundreds of different artists is mesmerizing and lots of fun.

I love these tiny pieces. Larry and I went to a lecture by a photographer who shoots African wildlife and he also prints his photos tiny with a large border. Very nice!
very cool!
Small paintings are nice, especially when they're intricate. A guy at my mother's residence painted 1 inch oils. I have a pretty one of an orange, and another of a ship.
The show sounds like a good idea. Not only do they get to display a large variety of pieces, but I suspect it's easier to sell petite works. A big expensive painting triggers the I'm paying HOW much? Where am I gonna put it?! reaction. Not so with a pint sized painting.
Barbara: Interesting! I want to run some fine art paper through my printer and see what happens.
Mary Ann: The funnny thing is that Anne herself is so tiny.
Sally: I love it that a guy where your mom lives makes 1 inch oils. So if you have a tiny apartment, you could hang hundreds on your wall. Did he have a show?
Namo: Your "Where am I gonna put it?!"= so true.
