I like this picture very much, Linda. I love the lone figure of the ball. It's right in the middle: a very prominent spot yet not overly conspicuous. The scenery around it is serene and reflective. It exudes a sense of contentment ... an enjoyment of one own's company: quiet joy :)

I'm picturing the ocean personified as a lone kid with a ball, waiting for someone to play catch with.
I used to love that song.
what a photo...
the scale is mysterious.
does that mean the worst is over now?
Namo: Poetic. Sad. (Reminds me of myself as a kid, always always always wanting to play catch with somebody ANYBODY.)
Stray: ME TOO!
Mary Ann: Thanks; it was kind of weird to stumble upon!
Sally: It's an abandoned kickball.
Stray again: Now you've got me singing that song and I can tell I'm going to be singing it all day long.
LOVE this...and seems perfectly aligned with the post that followed. ;) xo
