Thank you, guys. The thing that's so wonderful is that I used to hate this house and now I love it. We (the house and I) have both changed. Mari, the light is one of the best things about it. One of funny thing about it is that it has a great ocean view. But when we moved in, there was no window from which you could see the ocean. So we had to punch one out. There were many other strange things about the house that I won't go into.
"Strange things about the house?" you say? I want to hear more. I'm one of those geeks who's forever curios about the buildings, particularly the one I live in. I notice things- when the light hits the kitchen wall just right I catch the ghost of a long gone cabinet. Why did they take it down? Half of a window sill is shrunken and offset. Why?
Namo: Still not ready to talk about it, but take a peek: http://ldavick.blogspot.com/2006/03/moment-of-truth.html (Talk about "La Casa de la Rata"!!!!)
rfl: Gracias por la correspondencia al camino de Pescadero. Sus hijas son las mejores.
Yikes. Now I definitely want to know more. When you're ready.
Come to think of it, that may explain the architectural wonkyness of my kitchen I mentioned earlier. The long lost cabinet was adjacent to the stove. Do you suppose...?

hey I stayed there and it was great
Beautiful! Looks like there's so much light in your home. I envy you. As much as we like living in this little craftsman-style house, it's dark!
Su casa es bonita :)
Que linda es su casa!
So many bright colors and cute paintings too.
