Bear is 4 years old and understands English. He's living in a foster home a few houses up from us and his foster mom needs to find a great home for him. He's easy to walk. He's gentle and sweet. He sounds too good to be true, doesn't he? OK, he slobbers a little, especially before breakfast!
Do you know someone who might like to meet him?
Saturday: You're too late! Bear's foster mom, Michelle, put an ad on Craig's List. The first person who came over to meet Bear loved him immediately and turned in her application. She took him home to his new family an hour ago.

He's so cute. I want, I want, I want. But our Nunuk is socially impaired; can't get along with other dogs. Does Bear get along with other dogs?
Yes, Bear is fine with other dogs. His foster Mom has a big white dog, Cosmo, who is 2 years old--and they get along great. The problem is that the foster mom is having serious medical problems herself--can barely move. We walked both dogs this morning. We went to Sutro Park, where all the dog owners gather. We ran into many dogs and Bear was incredibly well behaved. Actually better than Cosmo. (But Cosmo is still a puppy.) We wonder about Bear's past --why would he be in the adoption clinic? but don't know anything about it yet.
Aw, he looks like such a good boy!
I hope he finds a good home.
He's darling. My cousin's dog is named Bear, too.
Maybe he's the dog for you?
Namo: His foster mom was really sad to see him go. But I'm relieved for her.
Stray G: Yez!
Sally: Of course the thought crossed our minds....but but but
I had a dog named Bear (actually Beertje in Dutch which is Little Bear) and he watched over my little sister Carla when she was lying in her crib. We were devastated when he was killed by a motor cycle.
Anonymous, I'm so sorry.
so glad Bear has found a home.
