Have you ever heard of the
green flash? We've been hearing about this phenomenon for years from our hardcore beach buddies. But I had never seen one myself until sunset this evening. Unfortunately, Tom was in a meeting so he didn't witness it. He doesn't believe me. But it's true! The sun turned bright green, and there was a bright green "halo" around it for one second just as it set. Soon as I got home I called Peter and Anne to let them know I'd finally seen it, and that I was sorry for all the times I had doubted them.
