Margaret, YES. It was WAY too heavy to pick up, though you might not be able to tell that from the photo. Tom suggested we google the names--and that if we can find any relatives, to let them know. It's in a big pile of rocks that are about the same size as the tombstone, near the sea wall.
Margaret, your last comment posted before mine showed up. You are a GREAT RESEARCHER. I can't believe you found the death notice. Sad and strange and kind of beautiful.
