Apropos

I felt like I had abandoned my camera. This evening I decided to play a game. If there was anything–anything at all–in my camera, I would post it.

There was a photo and this is it! From Walgreen's last Monday night. It captures the tone of this week perfectly. How about you? How has your week been?

Thanks for asking. Feb. 1: cold, dark, everybody's got SAD. It sleeted last night, and our house kept waking us up with awful creaking, popping noises.

We have some yucky weather this morning, too. Blah. And I found out my the piano I've been practicing is a girl. That was quite a shock. But I'm glad it's February--it's my birthday month! Yippee!

Hope your weekend is better than your week was!

That octopus is so cute!
My week? More like the Mallard who seems to be contemplating " We've been good toys! How'd we end up on the 3/$10.00 shelf?"

Sal: Have you tried a white noise machine?

Waterfall: It's great to see you again. The other day my friend Katy was surprised to find out her cat Mully was a girl. But to find out George is really a girl after all these years is quite a shock. What happened?

Marilyn: It does sound like you have a zillion things going on this week. Take care of yourself and pamper yourself a little.

Namowal: That poor mallard is S. The yello duck can be you.

We have a fan that makes "white" noise. But this was the first and only night our house has ever made such noises! It was so weird. The only thing that seemed different was that it was sleeting. So it must have had something to do with very cold temperatures and possibly ice. Expansion/contraction? Maybe it was the coldest night we've hand. Or the wind? Sounds like we're getting the foundation work done just in time!

Love the cross eyed octopus. It reminds me of myself this week ... too many things to do, and crossing my eyes too many times at unruly man, unruly boy, and unruly dog.
