Goodbye!

Tomorrow I'm off to the Children's Book Writers and Illustrators Conference in L.A. Does anyone have any summer clothes I can borrow?

Color Class. Goodbye!

The last class. It was one of the best classes I've ever taken. Thank you, Mel!

Rug

I had to go to the dermatologist. You know, at 450 Sutter? Right next door to Dr. Tuffanelli is a store called Karikter. They had this rug on sale for $100, so I rolled it up and carried it down the street to the parking garage.

p.s. I cleaned off the table for you before I took the photo.

Color Class

Our teacher Mel cut two postcard-size prints into quarters and gave each of us a quarter. We then copied what we saw onto 9" x 12" board, attempting to match the colors more than anything. Afterwards we got together with the three people who had pieces of the painting we were working on and put all of our pieces together. Amazing (and hilarious).

p.s. Wait a minute! I forgot to say that we had to mix all our colors using only 4 tubes of paint: red, yellow, blue, and white.
