Thanks for telling me, everyone!
These are my favorite paintings, and I'm the last to know!
A set of TEN DIFFERENT abstract expressionist stamps was issued back in MARCH. It is almost JUNE. They will probably all be GONE by the time I get to the P.O. on Tuesday.
Forget e-mail; I'm going to start writing letters if I can get my hands on these stamps.

O. M. G.!!! I didn't know about these either. Now I must rush right out. (And as you know, I still send snail mail, like the throwback I am.)
Thanks for alerting me!
i should have told you.. bought a sheet and cant bring myself to break it. you can still get them online.
I gasp, because I ALWAYS look at our PO's stamp board and these were not posted. Not 'posted' posted, but board posted.
I miss real letters very much and the beauteous stamps that go/come with them.
I googled "abstract stamps" and found these gems by mistake. That being said, I think you'll like them.
Happy Birthday, Linda. If I lived nearby, I'd ride over on my lemon yellow scooter with a box of those stamps for you. And some cookies, too. love, love and more love, mari
In July we have a class with Nancy and Zina making postage stamps as a project.
Meg: You send the most beautiful snail mail, it's true.
Ben: I'm going to go ahead and order online. Well, I just tried and (what a surprise) the P.O. makes it way too difficult.
Booda: I used to LOVE stationery, too, as well as stamps. Department stores used to have stationery departments!! And I would spend hours looking at papers and envelopes (and remember when some were scented ? ) . . . but now I adore email.
Namowal: Nice serendipity!
Mari: Thank you. (That does it. You simply have to move.) p.s. I'm trying to get Dee to sell me her mint green scooter.
Stray: YOU ARE SO LUCKY. THOSE GIRLS ARE GREAT AND WHAT A FUN ASSIGNMENT!
